Expertly handcrafted in Holbrook, NSW, these 12mm split reins combine durability, comfort, and style. Each set is made to order, ensuring a perfect fit for you and your horse. Choose between brass or stainless steel scissor clips, and select from 6ft or 7ft lengths to suit your riding preference.
Available in a variety of rich, vibrant colours, these reins are designed to complement your tack while adding a personal touch. Soft yet sturdy, they provide a comfortable grip and smooth handling, whether you’re riding in the arena or out on the trail. Each pair reflects careful local craftsmanship, making them as unique as the rider who uses them.
Standard rein length: 2.2m (7ft) measured end to end.

Regular Cleaning
- Rinse with clean water after each use to remove dirt and sweat
- For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush
- Hang to air dry completely before storing
- Avoid harsh chemicals
Storage
- Store loosely coiled in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Keep away from moisture to prevent mildew
Inspection
- Regularly check knots and hardware for wear
- Replace if you notice fraying, loose knots, or damaged hardware
Pro tip: Rope naturally softens with use but maintains incredible strength. It'll become more comfortable for your horse while staying secure.
